The Details

• Participants can submit research letters or original investigations on a topic of their choice
• Articles must be submitted directly SKIN, The Journal of Cutaneous Medicine (see "How to Enter" for more info)
  • Submissions must be received by June 15, 2021
• Winners will be notified soon after the deadline

The Prizes

Winners will be chosen based on merit and originality of their research article.
The prizes are as follows:

• 1st Place: $2,000
• 2nd Place: $1,500
• 3rd Place: $1,000

Additionally, winners will have the opportunity to be published in SKIN, The Journal of Cutaneous Medicine.

How to Enter

1. Create an account on the journal website here
    Already have an account? Click here to login

2. Click "Make a Submission" in the right-side column OR click the "Submission" tab located on the dark purple header at the top of the page

3. Click the "Make a new submission" link in the grey box above the "Submission Checklist"

4. On the "Submit an Article" page under the "Section" drop down menu, select "Resident Competition Research Articles"

5. Enter the required information requested throughout the remainder of the process, including uploading any supplementary files

6. As part of the Cover Letter Submission, please make sure to specify your submission is part of the Resident Research Competition.

7. Click "Finish Submission"
